Restrictions of life

It's almost been under a year since I was last able to experience my existence without being bound to imposed restrictions. Last night was in fact the first time that I felt like time was of no relevance in my life whatsoever. The imposition I was under to get back home for 8 pm every day kept forcing me to feel unhappy in many respects however, I am now able to experience freedom in a physical form.

Week 18

I have been trapped in my room since last night. The sun is already out and people are going about their day, livening up the streets. I hear the singing of birds, conversations from one end to the other, the blowing of the wind. Freedom permeates beyond these walls .

The daily rhythms resonate onto the streets but I can only bare witness of that from the surroundings of my confinement.

I try once again to imagine what may be occurring out there, what surprises will soon be set for me. In the mean time I keep waiting and thinking...

But, happily, between me and this wild, green ocean was the glass of the Wall. Oh, the great, divinely bounding wisdom of walls and barriers! They may just be the greatest of all inventions.

Mankind ceased to be savage when we built the Green Wall, when we isolated our perfect, machined world, by means of the Wall, from the irrational , chaotic world of the trees, birds, animals...
